World IBS Day 2025

April 19th is a time to recognize those that cope with Irritable Bowel Syndrome everyday, those healthcare professionals that support patients with IBS and industry which seeks to find treatment options for patients. We support World IBS Day with periwinkle ribbons and stunning periwinkle illuminations of buildings and waterfalls. Approximately 10% of the world’s population suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome. World IBS Day provides a platform where those people can find support through awareness.

What would you like to know about IBS?

Our theme for World IBS Day 2025 is to educate you and educate Healthcare Providers about the questions that IBS Patients have. Questions can be about: Symptoms, IBS Diagnosis, Treatment options including alternative treatments, Working with a Psychologist, Working with a Dietitian, Why do I feel this way, What is the low FODMAP diet, Is this a lifelong illness, anything you like!

Submit as many questions as you like and we will get them answered. Some of the questions will be answered live during the annual live Tuesday Night IBS – World IBS Day webinar. This year it is on Tuesday April 15, 2025 from 7pm-8pm ET. Answers to questions will be posted here on World IBS Day 2025 – April 19th.
